I have a Spyder Compact 2000 paintball gun that has a low pressure chamber on it. I was wondering what it did for the paintball gun. If I wanted to add an expansion chamber, would it due the same thing as the low pressure chamber, or would I want to keep both?

All help would be greatly appreciated.

The LPC doesn’t actually do anything. Kingman (they make Spyders) claimed it stores air/gas for quicker recharging when shooting but it’s just extra space. If you notice on newer spyders, they’ve gotten rid of the LPC.

The expansion chamber would replace the foregrip on the gun, not the LPC. You really don’t ever have to do anything with the LPC.

Im going to play paintball soon and i was wondering about how much does paintball hurt. Im 14, skinny, and a little afraid of playing paintball. I am going to play paintball soon and i have played airsoft, before, which to me doesnt hurt that bad. So how much more does paintball hurt than airsoft, or say hit by a rubber band. Please let me know.

Depends where you get hit. On the wrist or hand is TERRIBLE but on the shoulder, where the clothing is wrinkled, it’s hurts much less. Overall, it’s really just a temporary stinging sensation. Not that bad, but it’s totally worth a few bad hits, very fun.

Just the gun and buy the gear separately. Get a mask with a thermal lens (duel pane), anti-fog coatings and sprays don’t work. A fogged mask can ruin the whole day.

What paintball gun is the best for a beginner?

Im planning to start a paintball arena in my area and wondering what the cost of getting the gear would be.

1st of all you have to purchase a bit of land. If its too small no one will like it. Paintball gear is very expensive especially if you want to get ones like at flagswipe. The cost can get close to atleast 850,000 bucks. I’m pretty sure that you can’t afford this. Its cheaper to make an airsoft arena. Especially with clear guns.

I’m wondering how bad paintball hurts compared to airsoft. I’m 14, but I am a huge wimp, but I also want to start paintball. I’ve been hit by an airsoft gun from about 20 feet away, and I thought it hurt a little bit. It wasn’t close to making me cry, but it stung a bit. I have a very low pain tolerance, and I want to know what getting hit by a paintball feels like, and what it relates to. I need a lot of help.

Before you go and buy anything, visit a local field and rent some gear, play a few games, and then you’ll know what it’s like to get shot. I play paintball frequently and don’t consider getting hit to be painfull, but I have a high pain tolerance and I haven’t played airsoft so I can’t give you a good comparison. Best way to figure out if paintball is your thing is to try it yourself. Just wear loose clothing and an extra shirt. Might also be a good idea to contact the field and see if they have beginner days/nights so you don’t run into some speedball nut who’s going to shoot the crap out of you. Most fields are generally well run and take into consideration the experience level of players.
