For serious players, paintball guns are a necessity to be at the top of their game. The balance must be right, it has to hold sufficient ammunition and must fire properly at all times. These are just a few features that participants are looking for when it comes to this type of equipment. With the expansion of paintball groups across the country, more manufacturers are offering the different models that contestants are looking for. Various websites now specialize in this recreational event, with styles and equipment to fit every skill level.

One of the most sought-after guns now is the Tippman A5. It comes in many different models, each designed with a different style of player in mind. The following guns are typical of the selection offered by the A5 series: NO-RT Black, Response Trigger Black, Flatline Sniper, Power Pack Paintball Marker, Sniper, Squad Sharpshooter M4 and Stealth. Some of them also can be purchased as a packaged, with scopes, power cartridges and in some cases, specialized accessories to slaughter the competition.

Of course, there are other paintball guns that can be bought and used, and the ultimate choice is up to the competitor. Kingman Spyder series and Proto SLG models also serve this purpose and can be found rather readily as well online or at any major sporting goods store. Size, weight and style can all affect how the weapon is used in the game. Most players are repeat offenders, and know exactly what they are looking for in a paintball gun. Most of this reasoning is due to the fact that tactics tend to find players rather than vice versa. A sniper for example, will want a stealth or sniper gun, able to be concealed easily and with a tripod.

Since this game has become more popular than ever, the word has gotten out to additional players. In turn, manufacturers have expanded their line to fit in with what consumers need. The Tippman A5 is one model that has been a part of many ambushes. The Kingman series of guns and Spyder upgrades are available to help players make a better shot and be more victorious over their competitors. Experienced players knowledgeable in the capabilities of this series order them off the Internet.

Paintball is an activity to build teamwork, think “on the fly,” and build confidence. Strategy is an essential part of the planning, with equipment just as important. Most players won’t do their best without the preferred weapon of choice.

I have a Spyder Compact 2000 paintball gun that has a low pressure chamber on it. I was wondering what it did for the paintball gun. If I wanted to add an expansion chamber, would it due the same thing as the low pressure chamber, or would I want to keep both?

All help would be greatly appreciated.

The LPC doesn’t actually do anything. Kingman (they make Spyders) claimed it stores air/gas for quicker recharging when shooting but it’s just extra space. If you notice on newer spyders, they’ve gotten rid of the LPC.

The expansion chamber would replace the foregrip on the gun, not the LPC. You really don’t ever have to do anything with the LPC.

I’m thinking about buying a paintball gun online that comes with a PMI/Spyder 48ci Nitro Tank. The gun is a spyder vs2. But, I heard that to get it refilled usually costs more than refilling a co2 tank. How much more does it cost and is the price difference worth it?

some places wont even fill nitro tanks and there is little difference…it depends how serious you are and it helps to be on a team

I would tell you to check out www.pbreview.com . You can search for parts with the marker specific option for accessories.

Good luck!
