It isn’t illegal if they are on your property and you ask them to leave. If they don’t leave AFTER you ask them… Then shoot the hell out of them! : )

Shooting one another has always been in the minds of boys. Nevertheless, these desires for shooting each other have not reached the point of wanting to kill each other. This is the same reason why first person shooting games are popular with men. In spite of that, there are still those who wish to feel the adrenaline pumping in their veins as they shoot others try their hands at paintball.

Paintball is a game you along with other teammates as you try to shoot the members of another team with capsules full of paint in order to mark players of the opposing team. The paint will “kill” the people who have been hit, making the team with most players standing the winner. To play this game with ease, you will need to find paintball shops that sell good gear.

You may need to scout around different paintball shops to find what will suit you best, though they usually carry the same gear at varying prices. Look for paintball guns that you like and will use for a long time. Air systems that are attached to guns come with either Nitrogen or CO2 systems. Goggles should be worn at all times so that you can protect your eyes from paint balls, and good armor is also essential so that bruises will be prevented. Nevertheless, paint balls are also quite necessary as part of your paintball gear.

There are many paintball shops online and offline. The advantage of online shops is that you can get the store to deliver your order right at your doorstep. The disadvantage, however, is that you need to put your trust to the online store to deliver your goods in a good condition. The advantage of offline stores, or retail stores, is that you can first check the item for errors and damage before actually buying it. You can also ask the store inquiries about the sport itself.

Whether online or offline, paintball shops are a good place to start your paintball adventures. Be sure to ask for the top gear that your money can buy because you need to keep in mind that these are investments and not just mere toys.

Bringing a knife to a gunfight is never recommended.

Bringing a knife to a gunfight is never recommended. However, some people bring slower guns to a big gun fight. These people are what you would call – challengers. They have an innate desire to push their skills by playing as an underdog.

For many, the idea of playing at a disadvantage is scary. Most don’t want to shoot slower, and have to reload more frequently then others, as it represents a considerable disadvantage in today’s game of paintball. However, for others, there’s nothing more thrilling than the idea of eliminating a players with faster markers, for to do so is a sign of great skill. In today’s paintball, where markers can shoot an upwards of 30 balls per second, It takes a great amount of patience and skill to single-shot someone with a stock class marker… you better believe it!

If you are drawn to stock class play, then get ready to experience this thrill. Eliminating others while playing at a disadvantage forces you to play outside-the-box. You no longer can hide behind your markers rate of fire, or rely on strings of paint to cover your advances. Instead you must rely on a number of other things many paintball players have forgotten about:

Move on Time – This couldn’t be more crucial of a skill for stock class players. Since you cannot put down a lane of paint to cover your advance, you have to rely on moving when the opposing player has tucked into their bunker. This must be done on time and without hesitation. Hesitating for one second could mean elimination, and believe me, you don’t want to give that guy with the 30bps paintball gun any chance to eliminate you.

Shoot With Patience – A true stock class marker uses 12 gram co2 cartridges. If you are in a match against players with massive HPA/Co2 tanks, then you must completely become adept with patience. If you shoot too frequently, then you will need to reload your 12 grams more, which ultimately gives the opposing player more chances to advance on you, or worse – bunker you. Instead, exercise patience in your shots. Take a shot only when the time is critical. By shooting less, not only will you conserve air, but your enemy will feel less restricted on the field, and make more moves. All this means is that you get to take advantage of their reckless movements, and pop them in the head when they get careless.

These are 2 things every stock player should remember while playing. If you think you can handle that, then take a look at this essential stock class paintball gear. You’ll find markers like the CCI Phantom, and other necessary accessories such as the stock paintball harness.

We live in a time when every day gives us many stresses and a very important thing to do is to find our way to handle with that pressure. There are many different activities that are oriented to calming down, like a way to face with the anxiety, but on other hand, many experts suggest that you should throw out the negative energy and eliminate it.

Some people find paintball very practical as a way of throwing out the negative energy. It gives verification of the physical possibilities and excellent emotional discharging, at a same time. Also it’s a great possibility to be distracted from the everyday anxieties and to become acquainted with new interesting people. The use of pneumatic markers, shooting by the fragile gelatinous marbles filled with paint, allows you to “splash out” all the negative energy literary, and get the charge of positive emotions. This game also guarantees great fun and entertainment so it’s not strange at all that every year through paintballs fields in the world pass more than 5 million players. Paintball was played first time in 1981 in USA and currently reputed to have more participants in America than baseball.

For the ones that have not tried yet this sport, it is a fascinating game played involving groups, or even played one-on-one in the wide field. It’s something similar to the shooter games – one player shoots his opponent using a paintball gun that is powered by compressed air and is loaded with balls filled with paint. The good thing, playing this game that the opponent cold not be shoot in a violent manner, he will only be marked by colour. The worst result from this game is to end up having few bruises but that’s why you should be dressed appropriately. Dressing for paintball means that you should be covered from head to toe, wearing good face mask and good shoes.

The pump paintball guns, classically created to shoot one at a time, are the basic type of guns used for this purpose. There are also semi-auto paintball guns that can fire numerous paintball shots in a number of seconds. The newest kind of paintball markers are the electric paintball guns. They have an electronic trigger which helps make it more rapidly to aim and shoot. These guns are considered being the fastest sort among them all.

Now when you know all this stuff, it’s time to go out, splash out your enemy, forget the things that distress you and have fun, making new friends between the “enemy lines”.

Rules for Paintball

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS wear your paintball mask. This will be stressed over and over again. Masks shall ALWAYS be approved paintball masks. Whether a game is being played or not being played. It is NEVER to be removed ever. This is the first and last best rule to follow. Accidents do and will happen. Eye injury will not happen if the proper protection is in place.
Listen to what the ref has to say. And follow his advice and the rules of the paintball field. These rules are for the players own safety and they are in place for a reason. If everybody follows the rules, then the fun part, the game, can be played in a safe manner.
The second and best rule is – ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS barrel plug or sleeve when the gun is not in play. This rule along with the mask rule will save your eyes from harm. The barrel plug or sleeve will also telegraph to other people you are out of the play. And unnecessary shots will not be used up.
Dress appropriately. Needed are long paints, long sleeve shirt, and a pull over hat of some kind. This will protect you from getting the full impact of the paintballs. The proper clothes will be comfortable and provide protect for the player all day. The player wants to be mobile and restricted in their movements.

Don’t

Guns should crank no more than 300 feet per second (fps). And if the paintball field is small the velocity should be even less. SO, do not crank up the velocity. If the velocity is to high the chances for the paintballs to burst inside the barrel increase and the chances of an injury increase as well.
Never shoot people at a close range. Commercial paintball fields have their rules posted. So you will know how close and at what velocity to shoot. If you are in doubt do not shoot anybody at a range of 15 feet or closer.
Shoot at anyone or anything that is not part of the game. Shooting at animals or other people is not only cruel but it shows a lack of respect for your teammates. Other people will think you are a jerk and guess what? You will be a jerk! This is what gives paintballers a bad name.

Paintball snipers often try to copy their military counterparts when it comes tactics and general sniping. The problem is the two have some major differences. Without recognizing these differences, you will just embarrass yourself and your team.

Without a doubt the biggest difference between the two are their guns. The biggest mistake a paintball sniper can make is believing his gun is comparable to a military sniper rifle. For this argument I will compare a standard paintball setup with a Barrett M82 military rifle.

The Barret M82 or Barret.50 cal can shoot over 3,000 feet while still retaining accuracy. Many report it can even hit accurately from almost a mile away.

A paintball gun would be lucky to make it 500 feet, even when arching your barrel. To that end, a sniper scope on a paintball gun is completely unnecessary because you can easily see a couple hundred feet.

The only thing that has been shown to increase a paintball gun’s range is a tippmann flatline barrel, because it puts a backspin on paintball.

As far as tactics are concerned there is one big difference between military and paintball. Paintball snipers have a massive disadvantage in terms of being able to shoot from a distance. Because of this they must get extremely close to their targets before they can shoot. Whereas military can get a shot off from half a mile away without a problem.

So tactically, paintball snipers have to usually wait till their targets run by them. After, the sniper will have to slowly turn around and shoot them in the back. If they don’t use that method they will usually hang around the side and wait till they are nearly parallel so start shooting.

Don’t be fooled by any salesmen who tires you convince you that his 2 thousand dollar “sniper” paintball gun is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Almost all paintball guns can be used to “snipe”. If anything, all a paintball sniper really is, is a player who is using a specific set of tactics to eliminate his opponent.

In conclusion, paintball snipers are not military snipers. Once you accept your limitations on the paintball field you will be a much better player. The worst thing you can do is go out and try shooting at someone a half a mile away through your 20x optic scope and call yourself a sniper. You may be able to see them, but your gun just can’t shoot that far!

Know your limitations, know your plan, and stick with it.

The Tippmann 98 Custom is one of the most popular paintball guns in the world. In fact, it's probably the best choice for any beginner looking to get the best value for his or her dollar.

The Tippmann 98 Custom is one of the most popular paintball guns in the world. In fact, it’s probably the best choice for any beginner looking to get the best value for his or her dollar. Why do I say that? Simply, because the 98 Custom has the most features and options any beginning paintball player needs without the fluff. With that said let’s breakdown its main features so that we can understand why this paintball gun is such a great choice.

Tippmann paintball guns are top quality made in the USA markers. Tippmann is world renown for quality making quality paintball gear and the 98 custom is no exception. In fact many paintball players have termed the 98 as being the AK-47 of paintball guns. Why you ask? Because the 98 Custom can literally take a beating and keep on ticking or so the expression goes. It’s true this paintball gun can be dropped, dragged through the mud and it will still shoot accurately and reliably. Not many other paintball markers can claim that. Which is why this paintball gun is so loved, because you can trust that when it comes down to an intense action packed paintball fight, this gun will shoot every time.

More upgrades available then a game of pick up sticks. There are so many upgrades available for this Tippmann gun that there is virtually nothing that can’t be upgraded or modified on this gun. From barrels to hoppers, to triggers you can customise this paintball marker to fit your playing style. Some of the more popular choices most paintball players add to this gun is a collapsible stock and cyclone hopper. The main reason why these two upgrades are so popular is by adding a stock kit you increase stability and handling which dramatically improves your accuracy and by adding the cyclone hopper you increase your rate of fire.

This paintball gun is designed to last. Now by designed to last I am not referring to its top quality manufacturing, but I am referring to the lifespan of this paintball gun. Nothing is more frustrating to a beginning paintball player then to spend a couple hundred bucks on a gun only to find out in a year or two they have outgrown the gun and need a new one. Not so with the Tippmann 98 because of the sheer amount of upgrades and parts available for this marker you will never feel the need for a better gun for a long, long time. Actually in fact unless you plan on becoming a very serious tournament style player, you may never need a high end expensive paintball marker. In that case the 98 Custom will probably be all the gun you’ll ever need.

So it’s easy to see why so many paintball players choose to play with the Tippmann 98 and why if you are considering buying a top quality marker then this just might be the paintball gun for you.

alot of it is how many balls per second you can shoot
i think the barrel has to do with distances like the accuacy
and also different modes like
3 round burst,full auto,semi auto,single shot
