Your teammates must be able to count on each other to show up for training, meetings and of course, games.

Your teammates must be able to count on each other to show up for training, meetings and of course, games. This is reliability-one of the most important characteristic of any team. A teammate who doesn’t show for training can’t be relied upon to cover your back in a competition; it’s that simple. By demonstrating reliability to show up for practice, teammates can be expected to show commitment to the team on the paintball field, dodging paintballs and sliding in the mud!

Just because someone says they’re reliable, doesn’t always mean it’s so! Reliability is a DEMONSTRATED quality. Teammates show reliability by stepping up in the middle of a vicious firefight. Before an actual competition, test new teammates in demanding settings to determine just how reliable they are when under fire! They will make great frontmen if they can stand in the face of danger! Be on the lookout for teammates who demonstrate reliability.

A team has to be able to trust each other during an intense skirmish, or your team will simply not be what you want it to be. There must be no uncertainty as to whether a teammate is where he said he would be, covering you in an adverse situation or pitching in for a teammate who is faltering. This issue is associated with reliability, and is similar in some ways, but a sense of trust must be established in order for each team member to be able to function without hesitation and to have complete assurance and peace of mind.

Being committed means giving of yourself everyday to build relationships within your team. It means not just saying you are proud to be part of the team, but actually going all out to assure a victory for them. It means giving your all to the cause of winning the game and doing what you can to achieve the best possible place in the sport of paintball. Commitment to your team means thinking of more than just yourself; it means prevailing for your team and putting the team above your personal gains. Becoming involved in all team decisions, showing up for every practice, attending events and assisting in recruiting demonstrates that you are a committed player.

You will rarely find someone that plays any form of paintball without a group. If a player has been playing with the same group for a long time, he will hold a strong bond of camaraderie with his teammates. Paintball is not an individual sport! The saying that “no man is an island.” is especially true in this game. Players must work jointly to accomplish a mutual goal. Though the positions vary greatly in goals and abilities, players must work concurrently to achieve the final goal. Each player is required to assist and be assisted. Ultimately, this kind of collaboration cannot help but build trust, enhance communication and generate incredible teamwork.

Commitment doesn’t stop with being there for your team. Commitment is all-encompassing-informing the community about paintball and your team, presenting demonstrations for paintball awareness and safety, and finding sponsors. The internet is an excellent source in sharing information about your team and educating potential players about paintball equipment and other aspects of the game.

While your teammates should possess the above traits, they should also possess a wide variety of skills. Ideally, each player should be able to play each position. Then, if a player is eliminated or missing in action, another player can take over with adequate success. To increase your worth to your team, be flexible about the positions you play. Try to become superior at several positions-your team members will realize they can count on you wherever they need you.

You probably won’t find your ideal paintball team overnight, but the time it may take will be worth it in the long run. When you find a group of friends you really relate to, who is reliable and who loves to play paintball, you will have a pretty good team. Don’t choose your teammates only for their shooting skills, their agility or their speed, but determine their commitment and passion for the game. After all, the most important thing is having fun with your pals. If you run across a group of people who love playing paintball, open up a discussion about the possibilities of organizing a team – you may have found a winner!

Paintball is a popular activity and a paintball gun is the primary equipment that is used in this interesting activity. Initially when people start playing this game they prefer to rent the paintball guns. However, later when they find themselves liking the game and playing it more frequently they prefer to purchase the guns. Purchasing a gun will prove to be an inexpensive option in the long run than renting it all the time. There are different types of paintball guns available in the market. You can choose the one that fits under your requirements and budget. If you do not know much about the guns then it is better that you conduct a small research session before buying one. There is a lot of information available online. You can also find many websites that sell them at discounted prices.

Paintball guns are also known as markers and can be quite expensive. You need to decide on your budget before buying them. The price will narrow down your choice and you will be able to make the choice in a better way. The expensive ones are quite good and durable. You don’t have to worry about the repairing costs and damage because you do not have to deal with it frequently. Thus, it is a wise option to save money and buy a good quality gun which becomes a long term investment.

Normally people like to look through the online stores to get a quick view and understanding about the different types of products. However, going to the actual shops can also help you because you will be able to judge things like the weight and feel of the gun and if you are comfortable using it. You can also choose the design you like the best. A camouflaged gun is very helpful if you will be playing in the woodland areas.

Do not forget to compare the specifications of the different paintball guns before buying them. Rate of fire is very important for some types of games. It can also be adjusted for some games. A gun which can switch from automatic to semi- automatic is also a good option. You can ask the professionals or store employees for detailed information about the gun you like. They can provide you with some interesting and essential information which might not be included in the users ‘manual or box. If you are confused about something then you can always read the online customer reviews. This will help you a lot in your final decision. Thus, this was some interesting information about paintball guns and how to purchase one.

The paintball sport is one of the ultimate thrill sports available today, and many people are getting into it more now than ever. There are the casual users and the die hard players alike. Paintball guns and gear can be purchased online or at a local sporting shop.

How to Choose the Right Paintball Gun

The first thing to think about is what will the gun be used for and where will it be used. Playing may be in a field, indoors or in the woods. Determine a budget by how much is available for spending. This will help narrow down which type of gun to get. The first place to start the search would be online at a paintball store. Look at several models. An interested party can also read reviews of different paintball guns to get an idea of what is popular, inexpensive and basic. Also, the paintball fields can be visited so that the buyer can talk to other enthusiasts and ask about their guns and gear.

Some guns have long nozzles and others have short ones. The buyer must decide if they need to fire at close range or long distances. When choosing a gun type the buyer should consider whether they will use the gun for occasional use or if it will be used on a regular basis. If the gun is used often it should be a higher grade model to ensure the lasting quality of the gun and avoid constant jamming.

The Right Paintball Gear

The basic gear that should be worn includes a mask, long-sleeved camouflage clothing, boots or running shoes, head covering and a chest protector, if needed. The whole body should be covered and the baller should have a piece of cloth available to clean his equipment and a container for the paint supplies.

Conclusion

These guns can be a little expensive, depending on the model and added features. When choosing a gun, the buyer should decide on whether they need a quick changer for their CO2 cartridges or a tank for constant air. Paintball guns are fun to use, but they should be handled with respect. They should be cleaned and maintained. This sport should be fun, but safety is always first. Through choosing a quality gun, buying the proper gear and having fun, this is the best way to ensure that all players are secure and able to perform their tactical duties.

The Tippmann 98 Custom is one of the most popular paintball guns in the world. In fact, it’s probably the best choice for any beginner looking to get the best value for his or her dollar. Why do I say that? Simply, because the 98 Custom has the most features and options any beginning paintball player needs without the fluff. With that said let’s breakdown its main features so that we can understand why this paintball gun is such a great choice.

Tippmann paintball guns are top quality made in the USA markers. Tippmann is world renown for quality making quality paintball gear and the 98 custom is no exception. In fact many paintball players have termed the 98 as being the AK-47 of paintball guns. Why you ask? Because the 98 Custom can literally take a beating and keep on ticking or so the expression goes. It’s true this paintball gun can be dropped, dragged through the mud and it will still shoot accurately and reliably. Not many other paintball markers can claim that. Which is why this paintball gun is so loved, because you can trust that when it comes down to an intense action packed paintball fight, this gun will shoot every time.

More upgrades available then a game of pick up sticks. There are so many upgrades available for this Tippmann gun that there is virtually nothing that can’t be upgraded or modified on this gun. From barrels to hoppers, to triggers you can customise this paintball marker to fit your playing style. Some of the more popular choices most paintball players add to this gun is a collapsible stock and cyclone hopper. The main reason why these two upgrades are so popular is by adding a stock kit you increase stability and handling which dramatically improves your accuracy and by adding the cyclone hopper you increase your rate of fire.

This paintball gun is designed to last. Now by designed to last I am not referring to its top quality manufacturing, but I am referring to the lifespan of this paintball gun. Nothing is more frustrating to a beginning paintball player then to spend a couple hundred bucks on a gun only to find out in a year or two they have outgrown the gun and need a new one. Not so with the Tippmann 98 because of the sheer amount of upgrades and parts available for this marker you will never feel the need for a better gun for a long, long time. Actually in fact unless you plan on becoming a very serious tournament style player, you may never need a high end expensive paintball marker. In that case the 98 Custom will probably be all the gun you’ll ever need.

So it’s easy to see why so many paintball players choose to play with the Tippmann 98 and why if you are considering buying a top quality marker then this just might be the paintball gun for you.

I have a tippman 98 with a 16 in ceramic j&j but my paint just doesnt go straight for long. I want a straight shot with a bit of a tactical gun.

Best reply by Got Questions?:

with a J&J it could be the paint causing the problem. If it is not the paint I am using a flatline on my A5, it gets the paint on target. If you really want to get that tactical look you can get a Apex barrel that looks like a the M4 barrel, I have an apex it works good put it is very picky when it comes to paint (no cheap paint)
