If you prefer to do things with your hands, you will definitely want to build a Tippmann sniper paintball gun as not only you will save money, but you will also get the satisfaction of making something yourself. With this article we will try to give you a few instructions.

First of all, you will need to start searching for a barrel that will increase the gun’s accuracy. As a consequence, this barrel should not be more than 16 inches long and should match the size of the paintballs that you will be using. In addition, make sure that the barrel’s threading matches that of your gun.

Needless to say, that you should buy those paintballs that work good with a Tippmann sniper paintball gun. A good test would be to drop the paintball down the barrel and if it sticks, it means that it is too big. On the contrary, if it does not stick at all and just rolls, it means that it is too small. With other words, you need to get those balls that go through the gun’s barrel easily, but not too easily.

You might want to add a regulator to the paintball gun as it will help regulate the level of the CO2 your gun will fire each time, making it more consistent. In addition, the addition of a regulator can make the gun more accurate.

It is highly recommended to polish the contact points on the marker as the Tippmann markers come as standard with paint residue on the rear bolt, receiver and the front bolt, which means that it can cause friction and will diminish the accuracy of the paintball gun. Adding a sight to the gun is a good idea as it will allow you to be more accurate on the paintball field.

If you want to make it more versatile, you could add a cammo pattern, a stock and a remote kit. The cammo will help conceal you; the stock will make the paintball gun more stable while the remote kit will make your marker lighter.

It is advisable to lower the trigger pull when constructing a Tippmann sniper paintball gun. You can remove the spring of the trigger and replace it with that of a regular mechanical pencil. However, make sure that the spring is the right length so that it will be capable of firing consistently. Remember to check out if you are allowed to use this at your paintball range, before starting to make the appropriate modifications.

If you enjoy crawling around the paintball field, you could use a bipod as it will help you also while setting up in a bunker, or whatever you manage to find. You need to know that you can have a lot of fun tinkering with the marker of the gun. The A5’s can be transformed in a wide variety of markers very easily, like MP5’s, AK47’s or M4’s, but it won’t really improve your game, it will only change the look of the gun.

Shooting one another has always been in the minds of boys. Nevertheless, these desires for shooting each other have not reached the point of wanting to kill each other. This is the same reason why first person shooting games are popular with men. In spite of that, there are still those who wish to feel the adrenaline pumping in their veins as they shoot others try their hands at paintball.

Paintball is a game you along with other teammates as you try to shoot the members of another team with capsules full of paint in order to mark players of the opposing team. The paint will “kill” the people who have been hit, making the team with most players standing the winner. To play this game with ease, you will need to find paintball shops that sell good gear.

You may need to scout around different paintball shops to find what will suit you best, though they usually carry the same gear at varying prices. Look for paintball guns that you like and will use for a long time. Air systems that are attached to guns come with either Nitrogen or CO2 systems. Goggles should be worn at all times so that you can protect your eyes from paint balls, and good armor is also essential so that bruises will be prevented. Nevertheless, paint balls are also quite necessary as part of your paintball gear.

There are many paintball shops online and offline. The advantage of online shops is that you can get the store to deliver your order right at your doorstep. The disadvantage, however, is that you need to put your trust to the online store to deliver your goods in a good condition. The advantage of offline stores, or retail stores, is that you can first check the item for errors and damage before actually buying it. You can also ask the store inquiries about the sport itself.

Whether online or offline, paintball shops are a good place to start your paintball adventures. Be sure to ask for the top gear that your money can buy because you need to keep in mind that these are investments and not just mere toys.

Contrary to popular belief, the sport can be a lot of fun as well as safe if you use the correct paintball clothing and high quality paintball gear. Here are some valuable tips that will help you to enjoy yourself without causing any pain to yourself or others.

Basic paintball safety tips

The most effective and by far the simplest way to prevent injuries related to the sport is to ensure that you have appropriate paintball equipment to play with and the most suitable paintball clothing and safety gear on to protect yourself.

Eye safety: One of the primary concerns when playing paintball is the high likelihood of eye injuries which can be quite serious given the velocity of the projectile. Fortunately, these can be prevented by wearing high quality paintball goggles. However, most people try to make do with a pair of lab glasses or damaged goggles and in the process they set the stage for a painful injury and even vision loss in worst cases. There are several websites that offer quality paintball gear, so if you are an enthusiast, you should have no problems investing in a pair.

The right kind of footwear: Paintball does involve quite a bit of running around, jumping, dodging, falling and more, so you need to ensure that your foot and particularly your ankles are well protected through the ordeal. Once again the importance of using suitable paintball gear is highlighted here. Ideally, you should wear shoes that offer good support to the ankles and prevent sprains in the event of a slip or a fall.

Foot wear with poor grip will simply not do because most players are running around a very slippery field at full speed which can be a dangerous combination. A pair of quality trainers with good grip and non slip soles should do just fine. The importance of good footwear cannot be stressed enough as proper shoes can not only prevent you from hurtling yourself into another player but also reduce the chance of injuries caused due to bumping into trees and other objects around the field.

Suitable clothing: Proper paintball clothing is also crucial to ensure your safety or you may end up with nasty red welts which will turn an ugly blue in a day or two. As a matter of fact, it is normal to see most players using several pieces of paintball clothing that include gloves, neck protectors, forearm pads, knee pads and more. All of these pieces of paintball clothing worn together will play a huge role in preventing injuries.

It is also vital to ensure that you only play the game in reputable paintball centers with a good safety record and experienced staff on board, who are equipped to handle emergencies and enforce the rules of the game to make the event safe for everybody.

Safety tips for advanced players:

Now, that the basic safety tips have been covered and you are all set for an exciting round of paintball, here are some additional tips which will protect you further.

Always keep your mask on: It is imperative to never take off your mask when on the field. Even when you are out of the game and standing outside, you may get accidentally hit by a paintball which can lead to grievous injuries. One of the main reasons why people take off their masks is to clean them because they tend to fog up, this is certainly not recommended. The best way to clean your goggles is to get off the field and stand with your back towards it, then take off the mask to clean it.

Everything paintball for all of your paintball needs Unlike traditional guns equipment that rely on gravity and / http://paintballkillin.com/ a hopper for reloading, The loads through a bottom-mounted magazine just like a real M4 rifle! This gives users an incredibly “realistic” feeling for War Games and SWAT simulations http://paintballkillin.com/autococker.html Due to these many outstanding features, the RAP4 is undeniably the best non-lethal training tool in the world today. Many branches of the U.S. military and local law enforcement use the RAP4 in their training camps and simulations.

Playing paintball is fun in its own merits.

Playing paintball is fun in its own merits. However, you can make every game more meaningful and memorable if you know exactly how to play the game. By simply browsing through the rules of the game and different paintball techniques, you can immediately enjoy every minute you will spend while running through a large field and shooting paint balls all over the place.

Establishing the boundaries

Before you start the game, you have to walk around the play area and designate clear boundaries to every player involved. If you want to play with only five other people, you can choose a field that is at least 100 yards long and 50 yards wide. You may need to choose larger fields if more than six people are playing the game. Do not forget to indicate starting bases that will give everyone an open view of all the other players involved.

Define the rules

As long as every player understand how the game is played, paintball games can become more exciting than they already seem. Start by setting a time limit and explaining the objectives of the game. This way, you can prevent players from feeling bored while they are playing a game that never seems to ends. Before the game, you may also explain additional rules and objectives to make the game seem more interesting.

Preparing for the big game

Precision and speed are two of the most important skills that a paintball player needs to master. Keep yourself in good shape and learn how to move all throughout the entire game. Gasping for air while you are running for cover is not exactly the idea of an enjoyable game. Make sure that your body is strong enough to handle an entire game of running around a huge paintball field.

Plan before the game

To succeed in a game that necessitates cooperative play, you have to carefully plan all your actions with your teammates. Since you need to cooperate with your teammates to win the game, shooting away all your paint balls is not a good idea. Work with your team and try to move as one in order to defeat all the opponents who are standing in the way of your victory. With these basic paintball tips, you can make every game seem simpler and more exciting than before.

The recent popularity of the airsoft and paintball sports has generated opposite reactions among people. Some believe that these sports encourage violence in the people who engage in its practice. Some others think that they contribute to diminish violence.

As an airsofter I belong to the second group. My point of view is that when people engage in extreme sports, they look for a way to release energy and, for many of them, to play the hero in a way much safer than in a real battle. I am not a psychologist, but what I have noticed is that, when playing airsoft or paintball some people behave as if they were in a real battle. It is so much the excitement and passion they show that, sometimes, old men behave as kids. I do not think this is bad, rather is a very good therapy for stressed people. They satisfy the curiosity about how is to shoot a weapon and to engage a battle without the consequences of real ones. In addition it is a very safe activity. There are not many bad injuries reported due to air soft and paintball activities. Using the right protecting equipment these sports are very safe to practice. I practice both sports myself and, surely, can recommend them both. For those who can afford them (both are a little bit expensive), they are a very rewarding way to release energy and stress.

We have to be very careful when playing airsoft or paintball with children. And I mean this in two different ways. One, the most obvious, is that in the heat of the battle grown men sometimes forget that they are playing with children and can hurt younger ones. Second, we have to explain to children the real objective of these sports: to have fun and share with friends and loved ones and not to knowingly hurt anyone. Sadly, some grown ups need to be advised of that too.

Children should always, and I mean always, be under adult supervision when playing airsoft or paintball. We have to make sure that children, and some grown ups, understand even though it is so obvious, that weapons, whether they are real or not, are not to hurt anyone by themselves but they need a human being to make them dangerous or lethal, and it depends on them to make these sports fun and rewarding and not a dangerous activity. Think of the good old Buddhist Shao-Lin monks, they were remarkable martial arts experts, they could kill with a single hit but yet, they preached non-violence, humbleness and sacrifice.

I truly believe that airsoft and paintball sports are a good and safe way for people to manage stress, release extra energy and satisfy the need for competition (mostly in young people) and contribute to reduce the curiosity of shooting real guns. I do not know whether there is scientific research about this topic but I believe that people engaged in airsoft and paintball sports are less likely to shoot real guns and less prone to violence.

This past year I’ve come across two great packs that have forever since been on my radar. After seeing them in action, and doing some research, I had all the signs I needed to convince me of their quality.

First off, what signs did I see? These factors are generally very good signs that let you know just how good a product can be. If you pay attention to these things, then you almost never have to do hours of research online.

Ease of Use – I was in the market for a pod pack, so I made an effort to see what brands and styles of packs other players were using. I wanted one that would work great in the woods, as well as speedball, so while playing each, I found 2 packs that were common in both areas. I then paid close attention to how the user interacted with it. If they had to fumble with the pack to get a pod, or if they had a hard time putting it back in, then I knew it wasn’t a pack for me.

Condition of the Pack – If the pack looked frayed and torn, then I figured it could be one of two things; it could be a sign that the quality of the pack was crap, or the user played hard. You can usually tell whether the user is hard on their gear by the condition of their gun. If their marker is in total shambles, then you know they beat their gear up. If their marker is in great condition, but if their pack is torn to shreds, then there’s a pretty good chance the pack is not the best quality.

The problem with doing research online, is that a lot of people have a hard time separating their biases from their reviews. Most people just want to believe they bought and own the best product there is out there. It not only is a major ego boost, but makes them seem like a reputable source because they own only great products.

If you go by sight, and observe how the product is used on the field by the owner, then you can almost always get a great idea as to how good the product actually is. There’s no bias when the product is in use, just straight up in-use-action, unfiltered by the owners own ego.

Best reply by Dan:

Best effective range is about 150 ft or so. This can vary depending on your setup. If you use the Tiberius Arms First Strike rounds – you’ll get 2x the distance. Having a good barrel to paint match is crucial for optimal accuracy and distance.

Of all the major pieces of paintball protective gear that you will need, probably the most important one is your face mask. When paintballs can be travelling up to 200 feet per second or more, getting hit in the head or face without protection is not one of the first things one would want to do. This article will discuss a bit about the paintball face mask.

The main job of the mask is obviously to protect your face. Most of the ones available today cover the entire face as well as the ears; however, there are some brave souls out there who only prefer to wear goggles protecting only their eyes.

Goggles none the less provide a false sense of security, as they are not made to block paintballs. A regulation paintball protection mask is made to measure up to DOT safety standards, being able to absorb direct shots to the face regardless of the distance fired.

When looking for a mask, remember that they are available in different materials, from rubber, plastic and foam. This difference in material can make a difference. It is also probably a better idea to buy one at the start rather than renting one. You will need to make sure that you try on several and choose the most comfortable one, making sure that you can see clearly through it, as your enjoyment of the game will be enhanced greatly. The mask lens is very important so don’t overlook this feature. Make sure that it is comfortable.

In most cases, paintball masks have either non-thermal or thermal lens or be anti-fog for fog resistance. The anti-fog lenses do not need an anti-fog agent applied to it in order for it to work properly and are a great choice.

One other thing to consider with a paintball mask is the type of foam used. Some are more comfortable than others. A “Vforce Armor” is a type of foam known as neoprene. It is a very good material to use, but the downside is that it might be a bit uncomfortable. Two other considerations are the “Vforce Shield” and the Vforce Profiler” which is a type of foam that you might think of as “memory foam” found in those expensive mattresses and pillows.

Finally, style of course can raise the price of your mask even though the materials are the same as a cheaper one. This is a consideration so choose wisely between a good balance of material and style.

So as you can see, there are some things to think about when choosing the right paintball protective gear, especially the paintball mask. Do not skimp on this very important piece of equipment.

You can play speedball or woodsball at public fields, parks designed for paintballing or in a field or wooded area near your home. Speedball is most commonly played in a more formal setting, using inflatable bunkers to set the cover and staging. Woodsball is generally played outside in wooded areas (hence the name) or in mocked-up urban settings. Some paintball parks have courses to play both speedball and woodsball that include settings such as castles, old-west-style towns, desert settings and more. Be careful, though, because paintball parks can be expensive. By the time you add up the fee for entry, paintballs and air refills you may recognize a day at the paintball field something you can only afford on special occasions.

Woodsball, which is also sometimes called scenario or tactical paintball, is the most realistic type of paintballing. Most of these players will dress in camouflage and other realistic military-type gear, as well as use military replica paintball guns, grenades or landmines during the course of the game. Games are generally set up like military missions that range from ‘Capture the Flag’ to a man-hunting of your opponents. Here are just a few variations:

Elimination – Kill everybody. You may either play by yourself or with a team.

Capture the Flag – Just like the traditional game, except this one uses paintballs as weaponry against the opposing team. Use flag stations and collect more flags, or have just one flag for each team and claim it for victory.

Assault – players are divided into two teams. One team protects their territory while the other attacks. The attackers try to eliminate their opponents or take hold of their territory.

Popular woodsball equipment is generally made up of military-style paintball guns. Some good options are Tippmann, MilSig and T68. These guns come in many different configurations including AK47’s, M4 Carbines, sub-machine guns and sniper rifles. These guns are so authentic that they can use many of the parts for real guns. For example, you can use the same rails, sniper scopes, sights, handguards and stocks on your paintball gun that you would on a real military rifle. This gives you many options for how your gun may look and function. It also adds realism to the game.

The different options and look of your paintball gun will also help define the part you play on the field. For example, if you have a sniper paintball gun, your position on the field will likely be as the sniper, purposed for precision shooting or providing cover fire so the other players can position better. The player with an M16-style paintball gun is more on the front line, making tactical maneuvers, flanking the enemy or capturing the enemy flag.

Speedball was created primarily for professional competitive paintballers because it uses a standard field with better spectator viewing. If you think paintball is for some weekend fun, professional speedballers would disagree – there are many professionals who play speedball for a living! Speedball has turned into a true sport, complete with teams, coaches, uniforms and sponsorships.

In speedball, there are generally 3- or 5-man teams that play in 5-, 10- or 15-minute timed matches. The games are fast and usually utilize a variation of elimination. Successful speedball teams use rapid, constant movement, strong strategies and effective communication. Speedballers use different paintball markers than woodsballers. Their guns are faster, lighter and look more like laser-tag guns or space-age pistols.

A few good speedball gun makers are Spyder, Planet Eclipse (Ego), Proto/Matrix (PM9) and Smart Parts. These guns generally come with 8-12″ barrels and some sort of electronic trigger system. An electronic trigger offers several different modes of fire – single, burst and fully-automatic. Another common accessory for speedball guns is an electronic hopper, which allow for much faster firing.

Uniforms for playing speedball are usually paintball jerseys, which have some padding built in for extra protection. By the way, an important part of any paintball setup (whether for speedball or woodsball) is a good paintball mask. Paintball is an extremely safe sport, as long as you wear protective eye wear.

Paintball equipment is bound to get dirty after a long day of having fun which is why you should know a couple of things for properly making the gear as good as new. You will be needing a regular washing machine; lint-free, soft rags; microfiber cloth and a spray bottle.

First of all, the apparel; here we include pants, shirts, socks, headwear, gloves and pads. It is highly recommended to wash them separately from normal laundry because some of the paintballs along with their fills are very greasy and there is a good chance of transferring this grease to other clothes in the washing machine. Let’s not forget about other dirty substances like dirt. If you prefer wearing casual apparel that is suitable for a paintball activity, just read the instructions on the tags and you will be just fine. You can use stain removers without any worries. If you however prefer wearing paintball designed apparel which most likely does not have washing instructions, it is advisable to wash it all on cold, on a gentle cycle then line dry. Stain removers are unnecessary for obvious reasons.

Second of all, for other items like packs, barrel covers gear bags or covers shoes – you must wipe down with a damp cloth. Packs and tank covers can get the dirtiest of these items. If you want to, wash on cold, gentle cycle then line dry. If you want to avoid all this work, just hose all the gear outside.

Third of all, masks and goggles: the mask should be wiped using a damp cloth. The lens should be treated gentler by using a softer cloth in order to wipe away any remaining paint. After that, use a microfiber cloth to polish it nicely. For end of the day cleaning, disassemble the mask and wipe the parts down individually. The mask strap can be machine-washed (cold, gentle cycle, line dry).

Last but not least, markers, hoppers, tanks and other similar paintball equipment. The paintball hardware is very easy to clean – wipe it down with rags. For those of you looking for a shiny and smudge free aspect, use a microfiber cloth and run it over the gear after cleaning it. There are many cases in which dirt and paint will get in the crevices of these items. For such situations, you need thorough cleaning that might require disassembly. If this is your case, check the manual on how to correctly do that. Do not forget to re-lube any o-rings you come across during cleaning procedures.

The most important aspect when it comes down to washing soft goods is a cold, gentle cycle and line dry. For those of you that do not seem to find a manual, look it over the Internet at the manufacturer’s website. Microfiber cloths are not as expensive as many of you might have thought, they are around 2$ or so. If you had the money for the paintball gun, you definitely can afford spending a few extra bucks to maintain it in perfect shape.
