If your wearing pants and l/s shirt it wont hurt too bad. It’ll sting for a few seconds but the pain will go away and you’ll have a welt or bruise there but nothing too bad. Wear gloves because getting hit in the hand hurts like a b@#ch. You’ll love it though. You get a way better adrenaline rush and you’ll have fun. Just don’t invest a lot of money until you’ve tried it or are sure paintball is for you.
Not to sound cruel, but if you’re the kind of person who is likely to cry if hit sufficiently hard, then maybe pantball isn’t for you.
Paintball hurts more than airsoft. The guns are much more powerful and fire a heavier projectile. (Just a shame they can’t to it very far or accurately! )
A point blank hit from an airsoft gun (running about 400fps) will leave bloody welts which will eventually heal over.
A point blank hit from a relatively low powered paintball marker (like those used for rentals at many sites) will lleave a scar.
Played both in the past. On my experience, paintball stings more, but I was only shoot in my leg. What ever you choose to do… At least, HAVE FUN.
